SEPTEMBER

Hello Youth and Families!
We will be meeting every Wednesday in September (and hopefully beyond). For this to work, there will be several safety measures we will all need to be responsible for in order to have a great time and to keep our youth family safe.

1. If you are SICK or are having any SYMPTOMS related to ANY illness, please stay home.

2. When you are within the church walls, masks are REQUIRED..

3. Please be sure to CHECK-IN with a volunteer to maintain contact tracing protocols.
Temperatures will be monitored as well. If you present feverish symptoms, you will be
    asked to leave.

4. Please maintain PHYSICAL DISTANCING requirements, 6 feet and Jesus.

5. ENTER through the alleyway. EXIT by the stairs to Boulder.

6. Stay within the space that is open for youth activities.

7. Continue to RESPECT People, Place, Process, and Presence!

If a positive case of COVID-19 occurs, please inform Zach ASAP. We will contact all students/volunteers, and will close down The Zone for at least 14 days.

If we can get through all these procedures and respect the process, we will continue to have a great time and we will get through this TOGETHER!

EVERY WEDNESDAY IN SEPTEMBER!
In The Zone (ITZ)
Meals will not be provided.

STRETCH: A 4-week series on Working on Faith.

If your faith were a muscle, how flexible would it be? Could it stretch to your knees? Your shins? Your toes? Or are you not sure you even have any faith to stretch in the first place? Just like your body, if you want a faith that is strong, growing, and capable of carrying you through difficult challenges, you're going to need to stretch it. It might be fun. It might be challenging. But it will definitely be worthwhile. In this series, we'll discover four ways we can stretch our faith from Paul, the author of the book of Romans and a man whose life was completely transformed by Jesus. Thanks to Paul's words, we know we can stretch our faith by making a commitment, by starting something new, and by letting something go. We can even stretch our faith when we feel like we've failed.

SEPTEMBER 9
Committed
To begin this series, we'll introduce students to Paul and the book of Romans, along with a few more people who made commitments to follow Jesus: Andrew, Peter, and Mary Magdalene.

SEPTEMBER 16
Something New
This week, we'll challenge students to create a new habit or two that helps their faith grow — habits that help them love God more, and help them love others, too.

SEPTEMBER 23
Letting Go
This week, we'll challenge students to break a bad habit by letting go of something that's holding them back from growing in their faith.

SEPTEMBER 30
Even When We Fall
To close this series, we'll remind students that even when they feel like they've failed God or themselves, their weakness is a gift and a chance to grow.

Sunday Mornings

Our Sunday morning activities are temporarily canceled. We will resume them as soon as possible!

9:00 am - 9:30 am            BREAKFAST CLUB in THE ZONE
Continental style breakfast and hanging out.

Join us for a bite to eat, game to play, catching up with friends, making new ones, or an early morning nap. Cereal, snacks, juice, even waffles. Our gracious hosts Lynda and Heather continue to love us, by feeding our stomachs. Life is already hard; so don’t make it harder, by skipping breakfast.

9:30 am - 10:30 am         YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS, HIBBARD HALL

           led by Zach Walker

Bible 101

Who wrote it? How many books? Where do I start? The Bible can be a daunting book, but we should become more aware to God’s Word. So let’s break it down together!

The Zone closes at 11:00 am
