Music & Arts Ministries
The mission of the Music & Arts Ministries of First United Methodist Church is to connect people to God and to one another through excellent, diverse, and inspirational music and performing and visual arts. Is God calling you to share your talents through the church? If you sing, play an instrument, are interested in the visual arts or in theatrical production, you are invited to join us and develop your musical and artistic side while serving God with your talents. Participation in choirs, the division of drama or visual arts is open to all who wish to serve. Professional training is not required. Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is a vital part of worship. This choir leads the 11:00am traditional worship service on Sunday morning, special services throughout the year, and presents various major works and concerts throughout the year. They practice Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00pm in the Choir Room at FUMC on the lower level. During the summer, they rehearse every other Thursday evening. This is not an auditioned group. All singers age teenage and up are welcome.

Crossroads Praise Team
This auditioned group of instrumentalists and vocalists lead the 9:00am Contemporary Worship Service. We have a full Sunday morning with rehearsal at 8:00am prior to the service and then following worship we practice until noon. Chancel Ringers
Prior music reading skills as well as previous handbell ringing experience is recommended. The Chancel Ringers provide music in worship services throughout the year and participate in local/regional handbell festivals. The group is open to ages teenage and up.

Children's Choir
Children's Music is an enriching experience for children where they learn musical and spiritual concepts, as well as how to be leaders in Worship. Children's music time is open to all K-5th graders. We gather to sing together on Sundays, 10:00-11:00am, at FUMC in Kingdom City on the 2nd floor.

First Company
