BE THE BRIDGE 101: Foundational Principles Every White Bridge-Builder Needs to Understand
Christ came into our world to reconcile the world to God and to reconcile once hostile communities to one another (Ephesians 2; 2 Corinthians 5). We as the Church have been entrusted by Christ to continue his ministry of reconciliation in our often hostile world. If you are one whose heart has been broken by the racial injustices in our country, you probably feel the weight of the work we have left to do. And we can do it together. But we each need to do our homework. Be The Bridge 101 is a small group experience that helps all participants learn more about topics of White Identity, White Privilege, White Fragility, White Supremacy and to consider what it means to be active bridge-builders. If you are ready to lovingly and respectfully step out into this exploration for yourself and for our community, you are invited to register for one of our three 5-week small group experiences. Please register directly with the Leader of the group below that best fits your schedule. Limited spots are available due to our practicing safe distancing and desired group dynamics. If you are meeting with a group that meets in-person, you will be required to wear a face mask when appropriate. You will need to purchase your own copy of the resource Be The Bridge 101:Foundational Principles Every White Bridge-Builder Needs to Understand here (it’s a $10 PDF download file)
