Youth Ministry Update

Dear Youth and Families,

I finally got to watch Frozen 2 last night. This big news I wrote an email to tell you, has a purpose.  With the world uncertain, this conversation rings true :
Mattias: Be prepared. Just when you think you found your way, life will throw you onto a new path.
Anna: What do you do when it does?
Mattias: Don’t give up. Take it one step at a time, and…
Anna: Just do the next right thing?
Mattias: Yeah. You got it.

Take it one step at a time, and just do the next right thing.

As each day comes, there is more and more change, less and less of the rhythm we once knew so well. It has been unsettling, eye opening, and rather stressful. This is temporary. We have been asked to step out of our convenience as we curb an unknown threat. As we move through this, be patient with the system and yourself. As of THIS email, we are NOT having Youth Group and the 9 square tournament this Wednesday, March 18th and for the upcoming weeks. It was not a decision we made lightly, nor easily, but I believe it is still the right decision. I would like to start Zoom Check ins, on Wednesday Nights. If we can carve out some time at home for us to reconnect and continue to hold together, this may also be a wonderful time to study together. Sunday services will still be streamed at 11, but no Sunday schools. This is a work in progress. I hope to see you soon. Please feel free to reach out via text, email, phone call, or schedule a time for coffee. As of now, these changes will be in effect for the next 2 weeks, but we will continue to update you through social media and emails.

Check out our google calendar which will also have the Zoom links

Thanks for your time,

Zach Walker, ATC
