"Do all that you have in mind, I am with you HEART AND SOUL” -1 Samuel 14:7
Dear Church Family,
We have done an excellent job of staying safe and following the protocols for The Zone. Thank you to the youth and to the volunteers who have helped us stay engaged and have a great time doing so!
After further consideration, and with the smaller groups, we will be going back to the Jr. High and Sr. High groups, and adding a few minutes back into our night as well. So our schedule now will be on Wednesday nights at 6:00-7:30pm, this will allow the adults and small group leaders to be there at 5:30 to help set up, give more time for the check in process, small groups and we will be out a bit earlier too! I thank you for your patience through this process, but know it is to ensure our safety and enjoyment!
If you are SICK or are having any SYMPTOMS related to ANY illness, please stay home.
2. When you are within the church walls, masks are REQUIRED..
3. Please be sure to CHECK-IN with a volunteer to maintain contact tracing protocols.
Temperatures will be monitored as well. If you present feverish symptoms, you will be
asked to leave.
4. Please maintain PHYSICAL DISTANCING requirements, 6 feet and Jesus.
5. ENTER through the alleyway. EXIT by the stairs to Boulder.
6. Stay within the space that is open for youth activities.
7. Continue to RESPECT People, Place, Process, and Presence!
If a positive case of COVID-19 occurs, please inform Zach ASAP. We will contact all students/volunteers, and will close down The Zone for at least 14 days.
If we can get through all these procedures and respect the process, we will continue to have a great time and we will get through this TOGETHER!
EVERY WEDNESDAY IN "ROCKTOBER"!
In The Zone, 6:00 pm - 7:30pm
Wednesdays in October, we will be listening to songs and looking at Scripture, tackling subjects like: Trusting How God Made Us, Doing Difficult Things, Embracing the Unknown, and Taking Risks for Others!
Although we are not providing a meal, we still have a few wrapped snacks and water bottles on hand for the night. If you would like to help donate some individually wrapped snacks (such as bars, chips, fruit snacks, cookies, fruit), or water bottles, please email us at [email protected] or just drop them off on Wednesday Nights! Thank you so much!
This week, we'll introduce students to some people in Scripture who experienced jealousy, in order to invite students to the peace and joy in how God made them.
This week, we'll look at the story of Elijah, who needed to experience both God's power and gentleness in order to do what God had called him to do.
This week, we'll look at the stories of Naomi and Ruth and remind students that God knows our future, even when things seem uncertain.
To close this series, we'll look at the story of Esther, who chose to risk her life for others because she knew and understood God's heart.
