JESUS IS BORN!
December 27, 2020
We want our children to experience the love of Christ, to embrace Christ personally, and to develop into young adults with a mature and solid faith. To do this, we are providing a fun and purposeful learning environment that will help them remember their Sunday School experience every day of their lives. Studies have shown that children retain better what they learn when they experience it in multiple ways.
First United Methodist Church is investing in a multi-dimensional learning environment for our kids. Your child will learn the principles of the Christian faith through art, music & movement, cooking, drama, video, puppets, stories, science, and yes - even games!
ZOOM SUNDAY SCHOOL
Stay tuned for future Zoom dates TBA
Our regular Sunday School schedule below is on hold until further notice.
Kindergarten - 6th Grade
On Sunday mornings at both 9:30 and 11:00 am, parents sign children in at the welcome table in the back of the sanctuary. Children then gather in their grade-level pew and are greeted by their Shepherd. Following the Children's Message, children all proceed to Kingdom City (2nd floor North). Pick-up for Sunday School is in Kingdom City.
Sunday School, 9:30 am & 11:00 am
Children are divided into age groups and each week discover a Bible topic through a different medium. The month's topic is presented in a creative, age-appropriate, hands-on way through a variety of activities. Rotation activities include science & geography, storytelling & drama, cooking, games & music, arts & crafts, video, media, and prayer.
