Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is a vital part of worship. They lead the 11:00 am traditional worship service on Sunday morning as well as special services throughout the year. This Choir presents Handel's Messiah and other Christmas concerts to overflowing crowds. They practice Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 pm in the Choir Room on the lower level. During the summer, they rehearse every other Thursday evening. This is not an auditioned group. All singers college age and up are welcome. Contact Steve Harter for information at steveh@fumc-cs.org.
Chamber Singers
This is a small group, selected from the Chancel Choir. They perform during special concerts at Christmas, during worship and throughout the community.
Crossroads Praise Team
This auditioned group of instrumentalists and vocalists lead the 9:30 am Contemporary Worship Service. We have a full Sunday morning with rehearsal at 8:00 am prior to the service and then following worship we practice until noon. The Praise Team is occasionally asked to lead Worship for special events. If you have an interest in auditioning, please contact Don Acuri at dona@fumc-cs.org or 719.231-1368.
