You are invited to gather with us for some old Christmas favorites, Bluegrass style. We will start the evening with Sober Happy Hour at 6:00 pm, and then move to the Theatre at 7:00 pm for Christmas carols and a short Christmas lesson. We cannot wait for this evening to joyfully celebrate the birth of Christ. Contact: Rev. Tiffany at firstname.lastname@example.org.

We have led the city of Colorado Springs with the powerful preaching, a moving choir, and one of the largest pipe organs you will ever encounter. This service has been part of Colorado Springs for 150 years. Worship with us in our downtown sanctuary, online and on local T.V. If your heart is captured by the magnificence of a wonderful pipe organ and a Chancel Choir, then 11:00 a.m. is your hour.
Holy Communion, open to all, is served on the first Sunday of each month (except July).
Our 11:00 traditional service is open to in-person worship! We are not requiring registration at this time. Nor are we requiring masks but we are asking that we care for one another by respecting others need to wear masks and keep physical distance for those not fully vaccinated or just more comfortable with their masks. August 29th we will kick-off our fall programing. So, look for more information at that time.
Sunday School Classes
Growing in our faith together is an important part of First United Methodist Church. One way we grow together is by gathering in groups to study, connect, and pray together. People of all ages gather before worship for Sunday School. For those that attend the 11:00 traditional service, they meet before worship from 9:30 to 10:30 in various locations throughout the church. In gathering together, we are transformed by God's grace through the study, praying, and fellowship of the class. We invite you to become part of one of our classes so that you may be transformed. Visitors are welcome in all classes.

This class of many ages enjoys a time of refreshment, friendly fellowship and study. They look forward to welcoming visitors. Bruce Phillips, who leads the Informal Chapel Worship Service, is teaching about the life of Jesus, the culture at that time and his relationships with the disciples based on stories from the Bible. They also enjoy frequent social events, and support various mission projects and student scholarships.
