Mission Trips
Serving others as Christ is one of the "big three" reasons our ministry exhists (the other two are "Inviting Friendships" and "Digging Deeper Spiritually"). Mission opportunities abound for our youth! There are times throughout the year to serve locally and then each summer, we gather up all the energy and God's love we can to go out beyond our community to serve those in need. We often think we're "taking Christ" to others, but what we find is that Christ is already there within those we serve and relate to. Consider joining us and finding God by serving.

Looking down the road, here are some important Youth Mission related dates for 2009-2010:

Senior High Mission Trip 2010: June 21-July 1 - North Rampart Community Center, New Orleans; http://www.northrampartcommunity.com/. We're helping lead two days of the NRCC's Summer Camp for children and then spending two days working on their facility. On the way home, we're stopping in Austin, Texas for some fun.

All-Ages Mission Trip to John Wesley Ranch 2010: July 25-29th. We will be working on trails, repairing, cleaning and performing an ecological survey. We love our Ranch. This is one way we give back in gratitude.

2:1 Mission (All-Ages): July 16-17th. We will be spending two days and one night serving right here in our own downtown neighborhood. Sleeping in The Zone and partnering with ESM during the days.
