Senior High Mission Trip -- Now has a waiting list
Cookson Hills Center in Oklahoma
June 22-30
Cost: $350
Present 8th Graders through graduated Seniors
We will be meeting and building relationships with folks who predominantly come from Cherokee heritage in Eastern Oklahoma near Lake Tenkiller. We will also be completing construction and home repair projects while we are there.
Denver Mission Weekend
July 12-14
Present 7th graders through graduated Seniors
Cost: $150
We will be serving the lower income and homeless folks of inner-city Denver and learning about the causes of urban poverty from the good folks of DenUM (Denver Urban Ministries).
John Wesley Ranch Mission and Work Week
July 21-25
Present 7th graders through graduated Seniors
Cost: $100
We will spend the days doing needed work to care for our Ranch, such as trail-building, painting, construction rehab, cleaning and more. In the evenings we will play hard and have meaningful worship experiences and TAG times (Time Alone with God) that help us consider the presence and direction of Christ in our lives.
Mission Trips
Serving others as Christ is one of the "big three" reasons our ministry exists (the other two are "Inviting Friendships" and "Digging Deeper Spiritually"). Mission opportunities abound for our youth! There are times throughout the year to serve locally and then each summer, we gather up all the energy and God's love we can to go out beyond our community to serve those in need. We often think we're "taking Christ" to others, but what we find is that Christ is already there within those we serve and relate to. Consider joining us and finding God by serving.
