Mission Trips
Serving others as Christ is one of the "big three" reasons our ministry exhists (the other two are "Inviting Friendships" and "Digging Deeper Spiritually"). Mission opportunities abound for our youth! There are times throughout the year to serve locally and then each summer, we gather up all the energy and God's love we can to go out beyond our community to serve those in need. We often think we're "taking Christ" to others, but what we find is that Christ is already there within those we serve and relate to. Consider joining us and finding God by serving.

Looking down the road, here are some important Youth Mission related dates for 2009-2010:

Guest Speaker Joanne Finley from the North Rampart Community Center (NRCC) in New Orleans: Sunday, October 4th, 11am: This will be a great time for everyone to hear the story of the NRC from Joanne, who runs the Center, and get excited about our Senior High Mission Trip 2010, when we will go to serve the NRCC and it's nearly 200 children they reach out to each week!
