Hospitality Ministries

Greeters
Greeters welcome people coming to Sunday morning worship services. Greeters are positioned at the entrance doors on Nevada Avenue and St. Vrain. They are available to extend a word of welcome, to open doors, and to guide anyone needing directions or assistance. Greeters are assigned to the same location so they become familiar with the constituency that typically uses the same entrance each week. This way they are more easily capable of recognizing and welcoming those who are visitors. Greeters commit to their schedule for one year, and that commitment is renewable. Greeters schedules are managed through the office of the Director of Welcoming Ministries.

Ushers
Teams rotate as scheduled by head ushers every other month to serve the sanctuary worship services at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 AM on Sundays, as well as serving for special seasonal services, concerts, and funerals as scheduled. Detailed job descriptions and training are available to new ushers at the time they are enlisted to serve.

Andrew Ministry
These dedicated hospitality volunteers who exhibit the spiritual gift of hospitality, serve as a first "point of contact" for those seeking information as a first-time or returning visitor. They are required to submit an application and attend training sessions before assuming duties as an Andrew Minister. Regularly scheduled communication meetings are also held to stay apprised of the church's ministries, enabling Andrew Ministers to effectively serve under the leadership of the Director of Welcoming Ministries.
