The mission of the Sacred Concert Series is to reach out to our community with the highest caliber of musical and artistic performances which reflect the Glory of God.
The Sacred Concert Series brings top quality, professional Christian artists and groups to First United Methodist church from around the world. Past artists and groups have included Sandi Patty, Wintley Phipps, Ken Medema, Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis, Jr., Diane Bish, Sung Sook Lee, Nielson & Young, the Denver Brass, the Kiev Symphony Orchestra and chorus, The Church of St. Margaret's Choir of Westminster Abbey, Cynthia Clawson, Ryan Anthony & Gary Beard, the Scarlet & Cream Singers, & "Friends of the Groom." More recent artists include the 5 Browns, Colorado Springs Youth Symphony and Vienna Boys Choir.
Information on the current Performance Season and Schedule can be found here through the Concert Schedule tab or in a separate printed brochure, available in information racks throughout the church, the church's Welcome Desk or from the Music Ministry office. Brochures will be mailed upon request.
