First Company is FUMC's own drama troupe presenting major theatrical and musical works throughout the year. Performances are presented in the church Theatre, in the the Sanctuary, or the church amphitheater near Pikes Peak. In addition to productions, First Company periodically sponsors training workshops for all aspects of the theater. Auditions, rehearsals and production dates are announced in the church newsletter, Encounter.
The Visual Arts Ministry presents occasional art shows at the church featuring a wide variety of media including graphics, oils, watercolors, brass rubbings, photography and sculpture. Dates, themes and artists are announced in the church newsletter, Encounter. |
