Adult Choirs

There are two adult vocal choirs at First United Methodist Church. Choirs are open to singers college age and up.

The Chancel Choir is a vital part of worship at First United Methodist Church. Combined musical experience and spiritual understanding formulate the goal of this choir. Previously, the choir has toured England, Scotland, Austria, France, Germany, Switzerland, Holland and the Czech Republic. In 1999, the Chancel Choir was the featured choir representing the United States at the International Church Music Festival (I.C.M.F.) in Bern, Switzerland. In 2000, the choir was invited to Coventry, England to attend the I.C.M.F. Reunion.

The Chamber Singers is a smaller group selected from the Chancel Choir. They perform special concerts at Christmas, during worship and throughout the community.
