We want to personally welcome you to the ministry of the First United Methodist Church in Colorado Springs, where our church has a long and rich history of effective ministry. Colorado Springs is a beautiful place to raise a family in an atmosphere of worship, and we hope you will join us!

On this page you'll find information about our services and times, what's happening for children, directions and more. We want to make it easy for you to get to FUMC and enjoyable when you arrive! Be sure to stop by the Welcome Desk on Sunday morning so we can meet you, give you a special gift and answer any questions you might have. Directions/Parking
First United Methodist Church is located downtown at 420 North Nevada Avenue. The main entrance is on the St. Vrain Street side of the building for weekday business and Sunday worship. The front doors, facing Nevada Avenue, are open only for Sunday worship services and special events or holidays. Use the map links and directions below for reference on getting to the church. If You Have Children...
Kingdom City (on the second floor) offers an exciting chance for children ages K-6th grade to gather on Sunday mornings and discover the Bible through storytelling, drama, cooking, music and modern media. Stop in for a tour of Kingdom City so you can get a glimpse of how the children are cared for and educated through this wonderful, Biblically-based adventure.

Kingdom Garden (on the second floor) is the preschool ministry (ages 2-5 years) located in Rooms 211 and 214 in Kingdom City. Each Sunday morning begins with a preschool gathering to sing songs, hear Bible stories, share in offering and to pray. From there, children divide into their age appropriate classes where they are taught and encourage by a team of safe, loving adults and youth.

Kingdom Seedlings (on the second floor) is the nursery ministry (infants through age 2) located in Room 215 in Kingdom City. Children are nurtured by trained, experienced childcare workers. Our "Little Blessings" curriculum is carried out in a loving manner each week. Children will be ministered through music, stories and play-time.

Join us in the Hospitality Center to enjoy refreshments, learn more about the church and explore opportunities to get connected. You can also visit The Gate" Bookstore on the first floor outside the main Sanctuary.
