Preschool:
FUMC Preschool is a highly regarded program that successfully partners with parents to nurture and facilitate a relationship with each individual child that promotes trust and demonstrates God’s love. Based on relational spirituality, children experience prayer, stillness and wonder in their day-to-day activities as well as during specially designated sacred time.

Using the whole child wellness model this program is designed to enrich your child physically, spiritually, cognitively, emotionally, and socially. Students gain important classroom and socialization skills that are critical for a positive transition to elementary school. Children to gain confidence academically as they learn about numbers, engage in science experiments, literacy and prewriting activities as well as process-orient.

This state-licensed program offers keypad safety and a cleanly environment in a convenient downtown setting. Morning classes are available for 3, 4 and pre-kindergartners. Program hours: Monday –Friday 9-12:30. Optional Before and After School Care may be offered when enrollment minimums are met.

Junior Kindergarten:
This class is specifically designed for older 4 year olds and young 5 year olds to prepare them for Kindergarten. Junior Kindergarten offers a more academic curriculum. Children attend Monday - Thursday mornings.  By attending class four consecutive days, children benefit from a consistent routine that makes the transition to Kindergarten easier.

What is the difference between Preschool & Junior Kindergarten?
