Sunday, January 1st:    The church will again offer one worship service at 10 am. During this hour, children will come to Kingdom City for a Epiphany Theophany “God is with Us” Celebration. Blessing water with a cross and then blessing the church building… this is a very ancient celebration of the eastern Christian traditions.

11:00 Children's Worship

We will focus on the twenty-five Bible stories every child should know from Creation to Resurrection. We will also spend time each week participating in Wesleyan Covenant Groups. This small group time brings children together in a community of sacred trust to deepen their relationship to God and to each other. John Wesley, founder of the Methodist church, originally developed covenant groups to help the people in his parishes grow spiritually. We have updated our discussion questions and will spend time each week having the children explore and celebrate the presence of God in their lives.
